TruChoice Financial Group, LLC is a financial services enterprise (FSE) that helps independent financial professionals enhance their annuity and life insurance businesses for clients in the United States. To provide these products and services, we may collect, use and share personal information about our clients (collectively and hereafter, “you”, “your”). This Privacy Notice explains our information management practices and provides information on how to contact us if you have questions regarding our privacy practices.

SCOPE

This Privacy Notice applies to personal information about you collected, used and shared by TruChoice Financial Group, LLC (collectively and hereafter, “us”, “our”, “we”) via our websites and related services. For purposes of this Privacy Notice, “personal information” means personal information that identifies you as an individual or relates to an identifiable individual. “Personal information” does not mean publicly available information about individuals.

In general, our websites are intended for use by independent financial professionals (i.e., our clients) acting in the capacity of an owner, shareholder, officer, agent, employee, or contractor of a business entity. Our websites are not designed for use by individual consumers of financial and/or insurance services. In this capacity, you may exercise your privacy rights, as defined by relevant laws and regulations. In cases where you have rights pursuant to relevant laws and regulations, we will inform you of these rights via supplemental Privacy Notices, such as our Supplemental Privacy Notice for California Residents.

TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT ABOUT YOU

We may collect personal information about you so that we can process the transactions and services you request. We may also collect personal information to inform you of new products and services and to engage in studies or research relating to our business.   • From your relationship with us. For example, this may include information obtained from you via business processed by us.

We do not sell or otherwise share personal information about current or former clients with anyone, except to help us operate our business, as permitted by law. Where necessary, we seek your consent prior to sharing your personal information with third-parties. We may share the personal information we collect about you as follows:

  • With our affiliates and other third-party service providers, to process your appointment request or place business that you place through us, and to provide back-office support
  • With consumer reporting agencies, to obtain a credit report to decide eligibility for a policy or to process transactions you request
  • With our partnering firms to facilitate placing business, or providing other service requests that you may initiate
  • With management consultants, so that they can help us continuously improve our business processes
  • With state insurance agencies, law enforcement and other government officials

TruChoice may retain your personal information as necessary to fulfill our business purposes, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

USE OF SERVICES BY MINORS

TruChoice does not knowingly collect, use, or share personal information from children under thirteen (13) years old. We ask that any person under age 13 refrain from using our products and services. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child, we will take steps to delete the personal information as soon as possible.
